Draft at Barrels Bourbon & Bugs 2012. Poured a dark brown body with a fomay beige tight head. Aroma is great with loads of chocolate pudding, bread, light hint of vanilla bourbon and some wood. Medium bodied with average carbonation and only a very slight touch of heat. Flavor is very similar to the aroma with a slight drop down in chocolate and a touch more grain. Really nice.

At BBB at Maple Shade. Pours out a nice dark brown color with a small off white head. Aroma is of bourbon, deep, rich sexy (humm, maybe 1 too many adjectives) dark chocolate, vanilla and oak. Taste is of lots of dark chocolate, light roast, some bourbon characteristics and light alcohol in there. Really liked this one.

Aroma of chocolate, caramel, cherry cordials and a hint of vanilla. Appears deep brown/reg with very little lacing. Taste is heavy chocolate, malts, cherry and a little vanilla. On the thin side with a weird aftertaste. Very tasty but it doesn’t quite work for me.
