Sampled at GABF on 9/18/2010. This Belgian Ale pours a light gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet with citrusy hops. A medium bodied Belgian Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and grapefruity. Nice carbonation. A nice clean, bright and crisp hoppy Belgian Ale. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

UPDATED: OCT 7, 2010 Growler from Maple Shade. It looks like pale lager in the glass: pale yellow color with a small, fizzy head. Aroma of fruity/banana and lite honey-like malt. The hops show through nicely; with citrus and floral profile. It seems very lite and almost watery. But it would be a very nice session beer in the heat of summer.

Taste is well balanced, light fruit, some yeast, lemon, and some citrus/pine hops linger in the background. A very easy drinking Belgian that would make a great session.

UPDATED: AUG 19, 2011 On Tap at Earth + Bread (King of Iron Hill event). Despite the description, this tastes very similar to Russian River Damnation, perhaps a little better. Excellent local beer. Kudos to the brewers at Iron Hill. I’m impressed.
8/19/2011 - Had this again last night. More of a farmhouse / Saison style - bread, coriander, pepper. Cloudy yellow body with thin head. Still enjoyed this one.
