Pours a very deep clear brown with subtle red highlights when held againist a light. Small tan head that disappeared after a couple of sips. Pleasant aroma of chocolate, malt, and almonds. The flavor is very similar to the aroma with chocolate, malt, and some light almond flavor. As the beer warms, the chocolate becomes more pronounced. Very, very smooth with a lovely mouthfeel. No sign of the alcohol at all. Not an overwhelming beer, but certainly very enjoyable. cbkschubert (1555), Skyline, Arizona, USA Mar 9, 2008 Growler via trade with hopdog - Pours a dark brown color with a 3/4 finger thick light tan head.
