Aroma is chocolate malt, port, prunes, dates, and figs, light spicy hops, toffee, and oak. Flavor is lightly tart dark fruits, light hops and bitterness, sweet caramel and nutty malt with a dry finish. Full body and light carbonation.

Bottle courtesy of me, thank me very much! Dark maroon brown color, bright beige head. Aroma of prune juice, vinous vanilla, dark plums. Taste is plums, raisins, dates, vanilla, port wine. Delicious.

Aged bottle from the Doc Lock cellar. Pours hazy ruddy brown with off-white head. Nose is roasty funky bourbon, vanilla, funk, cherry, brett. Taste tart, with oaky fruit, port wine, cherry, lactic tartness, and a complex finish.

Opaque ruby/brown with a fizzy thin tan head. Aroma has notable port with faint bitter dark chocolate. Flavor is very oaky with light tart port notes...slightly vinous. Mouthfeel is light/medium with a dry oaky/roasty bitter finish.
