2013-08-17. Dark brown body with a tiny head, I suspect the bottle has been open for a while. 3+ Aroma is vinous with light roast touches, and raisiny fruit character. Flavour is similar, lightly vinous throughout over dark malt core. Average bodied palate, soft carbonation. Enjoyable. Campground Brewdown.

Bottle at CGBD, and Iím also pretty sure I had this on draft awhile back, so Iím leveraging some old notes as well. Pours brown with a beige head. Funky and fruits, with some light malty sweetness, oaky barrel notes, dark fruits, and some light tartness. Really damn good.

750 c&c bottle from MapleShade traded to jcwatts who then in turn shared it at Paulís new place tasting. Poured a medium density with a dark brown average sized foamy head. Aroma is rather vinous from the sherry, wet bread soaked in wine, light sourness, chocolate and some funky cherry. Medium bodied with a chalky mouthfeel and average carbonation with a dry finish. Flavor of red wine, charcoal, burnt toast, wood, cough medicine, dark fruit skins and some sourness. Solid beer.
