COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A truly full-bodied beer. Fe-10 is rich, malty and very complex. Dark in color, this beer uses Belgian Abbey yeast, dark candi sugar and a huge assortment of specialty malts, providing layers of complex fruity aromas and flavors, with a warming alcohol finish.

750ml. bottle: This one opened with a loud "pop". It then had some overflow out of the bottle. This one poured a cloudy amber tinged drown color. Needless to say there was a fairly large tan head on it, but it died down rather quickly. The aroma is quite good. I hate to use typical, but it is very reminiscent of other good Quads that I have had. Dark fruits, raisins, yeast, lots of sweet malts to name but a few. The taste is complex, but there are some cherry, caramel and raisin notes up front. A hint of tartness in the finish. It is also a touch fizzy on the tongue. Very nice. I should have bought more than one.

Bottle acquired via trade with JAXSON...thanks Jeremy!!! Cork opened with a pop and flew across the room. Mahogany pour with a massive eggshell head with amazing retention and lacing. Cotton candy, dark fruit, belgian yeast, and tart cherry skin on the nose. Flavor is quite sweet with caramel, candied sugar, and raisin most dominant with the alcohol showing as well. Medium mouthfeel.

Murky brown with a snappy tan head. Aroma was cherry, tobacco, caramel, and candi sugar. Flavor was more caramel, chocolate, coke (classic) and tootsie rolls. Strong and rich finish.

750, corked and baled. Thanks, BitBucket! Murky dark brown with creamy tan short-lived head. Big sweet creamy brown bread nose. Creamy medium body, with brown and black breads on the mid-palate. Mild sweet finish.

750 ml bottle. Tried several times, but I drank last night at a Iron Hill Chocolate and beer tasting. Poured murky brown with a medium sized tan head. Aroma of dark fruits, raisins, caramel, dark roast malts and toffee. Tastes is very complex with toffee, roasted chocolate, coffee, molasses, dark fruits, figs and so much more. Light alcohol warming in the finish, but overall really quite nice.

750ml Bottle: Very sweet aroma of raisins, dark ripe fruits, light yeast, candi sugar, light molasses, dates, and caramel. Poured brown with hint of orange and ruby and a large, fizzy, beige head that lasted throughout. Opaque. Sparkling. Flavor is heavily sweet. Tastes of dark ripe fruits, caramel, raisins, slight yeast, candi sugar, dates, plums, and hints of wood and alcohol. Medium body. Slightly thin, fizzy texture. Lively carbonation. Sweet, caramel, dark ripe fruit, and slight wood finish.

750 ml bottle. Pours a deep dark brown with woody amber highlights and a nice foamy head. Aroma is apple brandy, and ltos of dried fruits, estery- good full dark malts, caramel, toffeel, molasses, slight smoked rauchmalt, and earthy leather hint. A bit too sweet- almsot turns to a slight soy oxidaiton, brooan malts, dark crystal spec b fruitiness, raisin and toffee, maple sugar, brown sugar and apple cider as it warms. Big and full body an mouthfeel and a nice long finish. Pretty good.

750mL bottle tried at at Woodshop Quad. Very malty. Lots of melanoidins. Sweetish. Lots of mouthfeel carbonation. Dry finish. Very good.
