machfive55 (36), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 21, 2008 On tap in Lancaster and served in a nice pilsener glass. Golden in color with some lacing, I didn’t notice much head and there was a good carb that lasted. A light hop aroma but the beer comes across with a slightly sweet, almost adjunct-like flavor. It’s an OK beer for me, I could not drink this beer all day. I really expected more of a hop presence in this beer but it just wasn’t there. Miver (306), WillowStreet, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 17, 2008 On tap in Lancaster. Poured clear golden yellow in color with a medium sized head which left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is earthy, grassy, with some hops. Taste is grainy, grassy, with a nice bitter earthy hop. The body was a little thin, but I thought this was an good pilsner. bubbleflubber (645), Collinsville, Virginia, USA Jul 16, 2008 On tap at the Lancaster brewery. Clear golden pour, with a thin ring of suds that leaves soapy lace. The nose is almost nonexistent on this one... hay if anything. Hoppy grains predominate. It does show signs of trying for a bit of complexity, but falls upon a thin mouthfeel, and left me wanting. 2nd least fave of the multi-sampler. hopdog (4482), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA May 18, 2008 On tap at the North Wales location. Poured a medium and clear golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas grass, light citrus, and bread. Tastes of ctirus, grass, grains, and had a honey sweetness. Tastes and body on the thin side. I could see downing a glass of this on a very hot summer day. Ty5592 (1005), Hatfield, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 24, 2007 Draft at NW location. Clear yellow in color with nice size white head. Breadyand malty with those german hops shining through. The taste was the same with bisqut notes. Crisp and clean at the beginning, but became alitte too malty as it warmed. Pretty good I thought.
