Jan 6, 2008 On tap at IH West Chester. Deep golden orange in color with a nice off white head. Fruity malty aroma. Caramel notes. Malty fruity vanilla flavor. Hoppy notes. Sweet tasting. Medium bodied. Finish is hoppy. Nice beer. Drinkable.

Apr 3, 2007 not your traditional barleywine. dark golden colour, seemed to have a tad of a fruity aroma, body a bit syrupy, flavour of sweet hops, bit of candy.

Feb 17, 2007 Golden color with smaller head. Sweet aroma with an almost Belgian scent - some hops detectable in the nose. Sweet taste that seems to cross over into Quad/Belgian strong territory. Hops are definitely pleasant. A bit different, but I don’t go to good brewpubs for the same old thing.

Mar 22, 2006 Poured a golden amber body. Very hoppy nose...Somewhat perfumy. The flavor was pretty big hops of the bat. Lots of flowery citrus flavor. The finish become a bit maltier with some carmel hints but still a good bit of hops and some alcohol.
