Tap at IHWC. Pours a lightly hazy golden with a medium creamy/bubbly white head that left tons of lacing. Aroma of fresh floral and citrusy hops, orange, bready malt. Flavor of tons of hop flavor, spicy, citrusy and floral. Lots of doughy malt character with malt sweetness as well. Lots of hop bitterness. More double IPA than barleywine, I like it.

not your traditional barleywine. dark golden colour, seemed to have a tad of a fruity aroma, body a bit syrupy, flavour of sweet hops, bit of candy.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Golden color with smaller head. Sweet aroma with an almost Belgian scent - some hops detectable in the nose. Sweet taste that seems to cross over into Quad/Belgian strong territory. Hops are definitely pleasant. A bit different, but I donít go to good brewpubs for the same old thing.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured a golden amber body. Very hoppy nose...Somewhat perfumy. The flavor was pretty big hops of the bat. Lots of flowery citrus flavor. The finish become a bit maltier with some carmel hints but still a good bit of hops and some alcohol.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at West Chester. The best one of the night. Pours golden orange. Smells more like an IPA than a barleywine with a pleasant floral and citrus hop aroma. Flavor of caramel and orange, and fruitiness of hop aroma continues into the flavor. Pleasant bitter finish with a small amount of warming. This one has some characteristics of a Belgian strong. Not as heavy on the malt as some barleywines, which makes this one unique and an easy drink.

A hoppy citrus aroma. This seems to be similar Big Foot which is a good thing. I taste caramel, grapefruit, and cherries. The aftertaste is quite hoppy. Good beer!

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured a golden, orange color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, floral, grapefruit hops, wood as well. Taste of sweet toffee, caramel, some earth, lots of bitter hoppiness, and light alcohol as well. Really nice, and different barleywine.
