axilla (941), New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 3, 2006 Pours a medium, dark amber/brown color body with a small beige head. The aroma was sweet malts and raisins. Flavor was sweet malt, brown sugar, bread, and raisins. Seemed to get sweeter as it breathed. By the time I got about halfay through the glass it was becoming too sweet and less enjoyable. Not very impressed. desurfer (1024), Pinellas Park, Florida, USA Jun 2, 2006 Pours a moderate reddish brown with little head. Aroma is malty and fruity. Flavor is very sweet, with lots of breadiness and some yeast character. There’s not much hoppiness present. The palate is too thin. Overall, this is overly sweet and watery, and although fairly tasty, it’s just not all that memorable.
