Wilmington. Cloudy yellow body, small white head. Aroma of lemon and other citrus. Flavor has some banana and clove notes, some citrus hoppiness, and a nice sweetness. Nice summer quaffer; I wish this were available all summer.

20100531 tap at Newark. Small white head, fleeting, atop appropriately cloudy golden brew. Aroma is mildly yeast, nice fruity banana esters, some doughy notes. Prickly eff that I wished for in the wit is here, where I wish it wasn’t. Oh well, it won’t sully this otherwise tasty bp here experience. Comes across a bit sweeter, but only because of a tamer yeast, I think, similar to the wit.

Pours an opaque orange-amber from the 64oz glass growler with a very small, very short lived head tha leaves a modest lacing & clings to the sides of the glass. Aroma is spicy clove, banana, and citrus. Mouthfeel is on the light side. Flavor is a nice, subtle balance of lemon/orange peel, clove, and banana on the swallow. This is a nice, tangy, flavorful summer beer, one i’ll be looking forward to sipping on all summer long after working all day in the hot sun!

Growler (from Iron Hill Media location) at Argo0 pre-RBSG tasting on 13 July 2006. Plenty of banana in the aroma and flavour. Touches of sharp lemon on the palate too. Slightly tart, clean mouthfeel. Pretty decent.

On tap at Wilmington Riverfront location. Excellent weather and an excellent beer to enjoy it with. Pours a cloudy orange color with a foamy white head. Aroma of bananas and citrus. Taste is on the citrusy side, also with some banana later in the palate. Very enjoyable and refreshing beer.

Draft at North Wales. Proper cloudy yellow appearance. Flavor is peppery with some banana fruit, turning over the middle into a more fruity, syrupy banana and corn and wheat flavor. Faint dusty yeast nose, with some faint but nice creamed bananas. Medium frothiness, nearly dry on the palate, and just a little bit tart in the finish.
