3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at Iron Hill Wilmington: Bright orange color, with a red tint. Nice aroma of hops but with a sweet malt notes. Taste is sweet malts with a strong hop bite. Too sweet for my taste but has a great hop presence. Piney and citrus.... Medium body, easy to drink for being a high octane brew. Overall... Nice DIPA but to sweet, I like mine dry

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Wilmington location. Bright orange with a generous bright white head. Strong pine aroma with a honey and caramel background. Flavors are similar, with the resinous pine hops asserting a sharp bitterness with strong support by bready caramel sweetness. Medium body, lively carbonation, and a crisp bitter finish.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: MAY 22, 2013 On draft at the Wilmington location. The pour was orange in color, decent off-white to peach colored head, good lacing. The aroma was candy, pine, citrus, some floral. The flavor featured too much sweet malts, like a piece of candy was soaked in it, finishing with some good pine and citrus bitter hops. While the sweetness steered clear of sticky and remaind light, this thing wasn’t bitter and dry enough for me, just like the first reviewer, Gabe, says.
Re-rate, May 2013. Similar experience, bread and raisins, overly malty, lost opportunity.
