Opaque black tan lace mild aroma slight hops flavor is toasty hoppy feels thinly crisp finishes dry acidic very hoppy long lasting bittrness. Very delish

Aroma of perfume, floral, roasted pine. Pours dark brown with a very small head. Tastes of pine, roasted coffee, pine and sourdough. Quite yummy.

Served on draft at the Newark location. Pours a very dark brown color with ruby highlights. Medium creamy tan head. Good head retention and lacing. Weak roasted malt aroma. The taste is caramel, faint roastiness, leafy and floral hops. Medium bodied, creamy texture. Nice,

Tap at IH Maple Shade. Pours out a dark brown color with a small off white head. Aroma is of grapefruity/citrus hops, some light roasty malts, and slight chocolate. Taste is complex, with citrus and pine hops, roasted malts, light chocolate and a nice bitter finish. Nice black IPA.

Maple Shade. Creamy beige head with brown-black body. Aroma is moderately sweet, grapefruit, some pine, chocolate. Taste is moderately sweet, grapefruit, some pine, chocolate, light roast. Medium body, fairly smooth, some acidity.

Tap at IHNW. Pours a deep brown almost black with amber notes adn a smaller creamy tan head that laced. Aroma of light roast, citrus, floral hops, caramel and nuts. Flavor of grapefruit, pine, caramel and lightly roasted malt.

Dark brown color with a large, light tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus fruits, pine, toffee, toasted malts, and roast. Taste of citrus, pine, grapefruit, spruce, some cocoa, and bitter hops.

Draught at Maple Shade. Poured a deep brown with a darker black center and a large frothy white head. Aroma was loaded with lots of citrus hops and chcolate malts. The flavor is what really set this one apart from all the other lousy black IPAs I have tried of late, lots of roasted malts, brown toast, chocolate, amber malts and loads and loads of fresh citrus hops. Medium bodied with average carbonation. I have been searching for more Stone XI Anniversary and after finding this my seach would have been over if only Iron Hill wasn’t over an hour away.

On tap in Maple Shade. Very nice aroma of hops and citrus. Pretty black with a small off white head. Flavor wae nicely balanced with a malt sweetness and just the right amount of hop bitterness. Very dry and refreshing finish.
