COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed as an American Pale Ale, it’s a celebration of American hop varieties: Cascade, Crystal, Centennial and Chinook. You won’t be dissapointed.

Clear amber with off-white head. Aroma is grapefruit, some pine. Taste is grapefruit with medium-intensity bitterness. Medium body. Not bad, but it's a run-of-the-mill american hop beer, no better than you'd find in some homebrew kits.

A very good APA. Good balance of hops and malt. Excellent hop complexity in the aroma and on the palate. Good crisp mouth-feel and finish. I like it!

At the Newark, Delaware location: Same dark color as the Anvil Ale ... More of a smoky hop aroma. Tastes nuttier, more malt and not as bitter. Tart edge, but no citrus. Good.

Had this at the Media location. Nice solid pale ale. Good hop bite to it. Very drinkable.

Tastes more like a good IPA than an American pale. Strong malty backbone, plenty of hops, not as overwhelmingly grapefruit as a Stone or as pine and lemon as a Victory. Good reddish gold appearance. Good beer.

This beer pours into the glass a typical amber color for this style. The head was nice and thick and white in color, light lace was on the sides. The aroma had hops and hints of fruit. The taste was just like it smelled, hoppy and light fruity. Nice dry taste to it made it pleasing. Good beer for the style.

A good beer that poured all foam out of a cask at the Grey Lodge’s Friday the 13th celebration.

UPDATED: JAN 5, 2004 Excellent APA, copper color, kept a really good head throughout the pint, just the right carbonation, great balance of all the different hops included, spicy aftertaste, very smooth, refreshing, very drinkable, very floral aroma, excellent APA
