Creamy oily feel strikes me first; ya there’s some hoppy aroma in this clear amber nothin white lacy head, but this stiles me as unique; it also has an earthy, oily hint of grassiness Flava. Finishes dry n hoppy and leaves a twinge of tanginess that danced around throughout.

Tap at Maple Shade. Pours out an attractive mostly golden color with a nice white head. Aroma is of fresh citrus fruits, light sweet tropical fruit, passion fruit, pine, and some lingering sweet bready malts. Taste is complex and well balanced. Citrusy/sweet tropical fruit hops are up front, lingering bready malts, light sweetness, lemon zest and a bitter, but yet not too drying of a hoppy finish. Very unique hops, I like it.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Growler thanks to pineypower for picking this up for me. Poured a clear rusty orange body of medium density with a large full frothy white head that left tons of lace and had some serious lasting power. Aroma of earthy orange rind, brown bread, slight chocolate and wet grass clippings. Medium bodied with average small bubble carbonation and a refreshing finish. Flavor is about the same as the aroma with some dirty orange rind and brown bread along with a touch of tea leaves and even a hint of nut shells. Meh, wasn’t blown away by this one.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Aroma of grapefruit zest, douglas fir pine, apricot and pine resin. Pours clear orange with a big head. Taste is grapefruit with more pronounced pine notes. Hop forward and unrelenting, it is not too dry. A perfectly brewed IPA if ever I had one. Took a growler with me as proof.
