Clear gold, has a thin head. Nose lightly malty. Surprisingly nice flavor, quite malty and sticky with a kiss of hops at the end. Nice palate, quite creamy. It actively did not suck, and was actually a bit enjoyable. And it’s a light beer. Go figure.

For what it was - a light beer - this one was decent. Crisp and refreshing but not a lot of flavor behind it. Golden appearance and definitely better than your macro light beers. A nice start to the sampler I had.

Draft at Iron Hill Maple Shade. Like many of their other standard beers, this accomplishes its goal without being offensive like some other brewpubs end up doing. Light and refreshing. Not a ton of flavor, but what is in there isn’t bad. Mostly grains.

Tap @ the Westchester location. Pours yellow with a bright white ring. Nose is eh. Taste is like a much better version of a macro pale lager. overall tasty.

Gold pour with creamy head and lace. Light malt aroma and wet paper. Light malt, lemon, and very light hops. Lite bodied and a tad watery.

W. Chester. No head in this. Taste ain’t bad at all with a gigantic carbonated mouthfeel. Just a touch of lemon makes it tasty.

Draft. Pours a pale golden body with a white head. Skunk y, grain y card board, with some light corn and vegetative grain. Typical clean crisp and sweet. Decent.

On tap at New Wales. Gold color, with a white head. Sugar, corn, and hops aroma. Flavor is corn, hops, and malt.

On draft at the Wilmington location. Pours a clear light gold with a small white head. Not much to the aroma except watery corn. Taste of light corn and water.

Draught sample at Iron Hill, West Chester. Mild malt or mash aroma with subtle hoppy notes. Clean and grainy with a bit of strawberry. Pale gold clear with thin off-white head. Light watery body with medium-high carbonation. Starts light and clean with mild wort grain notes, decent hop character and mild acidity. Decent for a light lager.
