Commercial Description:
This is a traditional German helles lager, the everyday drinking beer of the people of Bavaria. Don't let the light color fool you. It has a distinct malt flavor up-front, followed by the spicy flavor of Saaz hops. Crisp and clean, this beer is a favorite of many.

Poured a dark golden color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of doughy yeast, toast, toffee, and light citrus. Taste of more citrus fruits, with toffee, toasted dough, and citrus, with a bit of corn here as well.

Sweet, somewhat corny and grainy. Flavorful and somewhat fruitty, really enjoyable.

Clear yellow gold color with white head. Malty aroma and taste. light bitter finish. Not bad but not great either, that’s why they are going to stop making it as the waitress told.

clear gold, fine white head, faint malt aroma, rich bready malt flavor, nice low bitterness underlies the malt to provide balance and a light bitter finish

Aweful stuff, quite possible the worst brewhouse beer I ever tasted. It does not say much for this place when I order a gin martini....at least the food is delicious.
