Deep gold with creamy white head and lace. Sweet caramel malt aroma. Peppery and caramel and a light bitter finish. Medium bodied and a tad fizzy. Nice beer.

Pours with no head. Nice copper color. Totally flat with no evidence of CO2. How they got it out of the keg? I don’t know. Sour finish. Sucks.

On tap at the Lancaster location on Memorial Day 2011. Pours a clear golden color with a good white head with moderate retention and a ring or so of lacing on the way down. Thin white collar throughout. The nose brings light floral hops. Also, some bread and accompanying mild sweetness. The flavor brings very light floral and earthy hops along with a nice bready character and also light sweetness. Really fantastic balance between these three components. Light to medium body and a dry, crisp finish with nice bitterness. One of the best, if not the best, version of the style I’ve come across. Well done, Iron Hill Lancaster. Sweet malty nose with light herbs and grass. The taste is moderately sweet, lightly bitter, lots of toffee, lots of fruit, some floral hops.

Very generic, average, despite having a great description on the menu. Wouldnt recommend.

Light to start off with a bit of a heavier finish. Honey undertones, malty, low carbonation.

Tasted this at the Lancaster City brew pub. sweet, but not overly sweet. A taste of candied sugar and malt here. Pours a copper brown color with a citrusy hops taste. A very nice aroma.

Sampler at Iron Hill Phoenixville. Pours pale with moderate head. As advertised, malty lager with clean finish. Not bad at all.
