3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 JCB (2918) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - MAY 23, 2009
On tap at Iron Hill, Newark. Pale orange pour, with some lively carbonation. Nicely hoppy aroma, with some sumptuous malts as well. The body isn’t quite as big as I’d like it to be, and the flavor may be a bit too straightforward in its toasty caramel personality. But it’s a pleasing, unassuming beer.

Brewed in the USA...... Courtesy of the Capt, thanks !! Growler from Lancater. Pours a yellow color with a super foamy white head. Aroma of bread and malts and a hint of fruit. Taste like a just ate a ear of corn with some bread and citrus notes. Mouthfeel was sweet and easy to drink.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 6/20 afireinside96 (924) - Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 13, 2009
From a growler filled at the Lancaster location. Pours clear gold with a ridiculously large head. Smell was somewhat nondescript, a hint or two of maltiness and noble hops. The taste had notes of bread, sulfur, corn, and slight grassiness. I am pretty sure this one needed to be lagered longer. Had a nice presence in the mouth though, full with low carbonation, very smooth. Probably good for chugging (useful to avoid the not so wonderful flavor).

Draft at Lancaster. Pours amber godl with a white head. Mild aroma of white bread. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Flavor of biscuit and toasted malts with a good, aggressive European bitterness (spicy and leafy) that carries through to the dry finish. Moderate attenuation. Not bad

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Glouglouburp (4558) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 29, 2008
UPDATED: DEC 27, 2009 In short: An highly drinkable fruity lager with a good citrusy hopping. Good beer.
How: Tat at brewpub, North Wales location
The look: Clear golden body topped by a medium white head
In long: The attack is dried fruits, apple juice and citrus fruit juice. Then the hops kick-in with an unusual (for the style) american character. Sharp bitterness. Citrusy from start to finish. This is an absurdly drinkable, any more absurdly drinkable and we’d drink it from clown flower squirt held upside-down by the trunk of a socialist pink elephant.
