GABF 2004. Bright yellow body and a tight sudsy white head. Sweet nose of apples, corn syrup, and wheat. Very little hop aroma but greater presence in the flavor and finish. Lends some balance to the taste. I’m not crazy about this beer or style.

At North Wales location. Standard fare for the style, less sweet than expected. Good, not great.

Draft @ North Wales location. Pours a bright, clear golden-orange color; thin, creamy white head with fine-bubbled lacing. Wet malts, red fruits, and touches of sugar in the aroma. Medium mouthfeel: chewy basic sugars, wet maltiness, and some fruit; slightly one-dimensional malt profile; lacks depth, and generally uninspired; stickiness detracts from overall drinkability. Medium finish: toasted malts, sugar, and basic wet malts; slightly rough and husky.

Alright, not great though. It had all the proper maibock characteristics but the finish was a little funky. I wouldn’t call it a clean finish. The hops were there, maybe I got an old pint or something, but it was more like an ale finish than a good clean bock.

Brewed and sampled at Newark, DE location. Bronze, malty, very straightforward character with some light toast and caramel and late flowery hop.

Brewed in the USA...... Courtesy of the Capt, thanks !! Growler from Lancater. Pours a yellow color with a super foamy white head. Aroma of bread and malts and a hint of fruit. Taste like a just ate a ear of corn with some bread and citrus notes. Mouthfeel was sweet and easy to drink.

Very generic, average, despite having a great description on the menu. Wouldnt recommend.

From a growler filled at the Lancaster location. Pours clear gold with a ridiculously large head. Smell was somewhat nondescript, a hint or two of maltiness and noble hops. The taste had notes of bread, sulfur, corn, and slight grassiness. I am pretty sure this one needed to be lagered longer. Had a nice presence in the mouth though, full with low carbonation, very smooth. Probably good for chugging (useful to avoid the not so wonderful flavor).

Pours with no head. Nice copper color. Totally flat with no evidence of CO2. How they got it out of the keg? I don’t know. Sour finish. Sucks.
