3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
On draft at the IH Wilmington location. Appearance of a full golden to straw color, big head from the belgian yeast I guess. The aroma was bready, yeasty, grassy, grainy. The flavor followed, and unfortunately, I didn’t dig the belgian elements mixed in with the pilsner base beer, just didn’t match, although it was definitely worth a shot and interesting. I appreciated it for that, but don’t ever intend to stock my fridge at home with such a concoction. Mouthfeel was invigorating, carbonation and faint spicey notes in there.
