Bottle @ Miami Fandango ’10 gathering. courtesy of gunhaver. pours dark amber, no head. Aroma, lots of cherry and oak with a touch of dark malts and candi sugar sweetness. Flavors, let this one warmed up a little bit and got a lot of oak with warming abv. Thick cherry, borderline on the black currants, hints of chocolate malts, Belgian yeast and dark sugar. Cherry tart aspect was rather thin possibly making room for the sweeter sugary palate. Finish keeps the same oaky notes and a long enjoyable cherry palate.
