Rerated to fix spelling errors. Promo special brew created by Chris LaPierre for IH Mug Club members. He hopes to bottle some of this for GABF. The pour is hazy dark straw with 1-finger off-white head. Aroma is honey, citrus, funky Belgian yeast, clove, candi sugar, and cabernet. Tastes hopcitric, with clove, orange zest, honey, and a mid to late palate explosion of oaky red wine, plus berry fruits. This one is very unique, very complex, and one of the most enjoyable and original styles I’ve quaffed in years.
