DeeP amber thin off-white head; not much aroma; Flava is nice and rich and complex blend of malt, slightly roasted and hops and alcohOl; feels ri ch with a nice biting fizz. Finishes long and dry some grassy notes.

Flava and finish is the strong suit. Which is good for drinking a beer. Hint of toasty nutty in aroma but nice and powerful in the Flava. Finishes slightly sweet yet bitter and dry.

Tap at Maple Shade. Pours out an attractive orange color with a small off white head. Aroma is of caramel malts, grainy bread, mild honey and some lingering floral hops in the background. Taste is much the same, clean caramel, grains, cereal, grass, bread, some honey and a light lingering bitterness on the finish.

On tap at Chestnut Hill. Clear, dark amber, no head. Toasted caramel malt nose. Malty sweet with some roastiness. Hops mix with roastiness to provide some bitterness but this is primarily a malt profile.

A nice version of the style. Malty with bread, caramel, some yeast. The flavor is the same, nicely balanced, and good with the Oktoberfest menu.
