On tap at Iron Hill Newark. Poured a nice clear copper color with nice tan foamy head. Aroma was not very strong, mild spice, nuts and malts. Flavor was also mild with hints of bread, spice, and floral taste. Finished crisp and clean with no traces of alcohol, a decent oktoberfest by Iron Hill.

On tap at West Chester location. Beautiful amber pour. Nice grassy hop nose with some nutty malt aromas. Taste is thin and a bit rough on the edges. Slightly oily but a full malt flavor combines with a moderate carbonation level. Very doughy and a decent session beer.

DeeP amber thin off-white head; not much aroma; Flava is nice and rich and complex blend of malt, slightly roasted and hops and alcohOl; feels ri ch with a nice biting fizz. Finishes long and dry some grassy notes.

Flava and finish is the strong suit. Which is good for drinking a beer. Hint of toasty nutty in aroma but nice and powerful in the Flava. Finishes slightly sweet yet bitter and dry.

Draft On tap at North Wales. Pours a nice copper with a decent creamy white head. Has a malty aroma with hints of citrus hops. Had a good flavor with touches of bread. A light duration and a smooth aftertaste. A very tasty beer. Had a good palate and was a nice mix.

Tap at Voorhees. Pours clear amber with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is toast and caramel malt, earthy hops. Flavor is malt and hop balanced with a clean lager character and a sweet finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Too much alcohol (gasp!) It’s 7.7% in Phoenixville. The alchohol overpowers and it’s very sweet, too sweet for an Oktoberfest in my book. Nice aroma, spicy, a little yeasty - first sip takes you by surprise.

Tap@WestChester. Largely tasteless, even for the style. No kick at all. Not a fan.

On tap at Chestnut Hill. Clear, dark amber, no head. Toasted caramel malt nose. Malty sweet with some roastiness. Hops mix with roastiness to provide some bitterness but this is primarily a malt profile.
