Bottle that’s been in my cellar for years. I think it came from hopdog. Pours brown with a lasting tan head. Smells of cherries, nutty, some molasses, touches of welcoming oxidation. Tastes of Spice, some fruity undertones, caramel, cognac with some toffee and cherry hints on the finish. Delicious!

Caramel body with a white lacing head. Smells sweet but a little rusty. Taste just the same and that’s not a good thing

Pours a clear amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is of roasted malts, fruits, some hops and notes of citrus. Sweet, fruity, a nice balance, some alcohol.

Bottle. Pours brown with off-white head; short retention and spare lacing. Aroma is sweet malt, dark fruit, caramel, and light alcohol. Flavor matches the nose and is sweet throughout. Medium body, carbonation, and warmth.

Sampled at the DC Local Tasting a 750ml bottle pours a hazy brown with some creamy off white head. Nose is oranges, caramel, minty, a little grassy, brown sugar, some cookies. Flavor is sweet, oranges, mint, earthy, sweet carrots, squash. Smooth finish.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with a medium, fizzy off-white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is caramel and cookie malt, alcohol, brown sugar and spicy hops. Flavor is malt, brown sugar, alcohol and dates with a sweet finish. Medium body, warmth and carbonation.

75cl bottle. Large beige head that mostly dissipates atop cloudy dark amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, plum/raisin, some brown sugar, vinous, herbal. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, some raisin/plum, molasses, vinous, light herbal. Medium-full body, some stickiness, low carbonation.

On tap at NW. Poured a deep amber color with a thin sized off white head. dark fruits, caramel, with some lighter fruitiness and toffee. Overall alcohol well hidden.
