Drank as part of a sampler at the Iron Hill Brewery in Wilmington, Delaware.. A beautifully dark beer with amazing aromas of roasted malts.Very little carbonation,tastes of roasted malts. but finishes weird.

Dark brown-black body, medium to thin light tan head, soapy lacing. Light roast, bittersweet chocolate, caramel, and earth. Medium bodied with moderate to lively carbonation, a tad thin towards the finish, lingering earthiness with mild bitterness.

On tap 4 oz. taste at Iron Hill in West Chester, PA. Nearly opaque, deep dark brown with a creamy tan head and very good lacing. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, coffee and raisins. On draft at the brewpub (Voorhees). Pours a clear dark brown color with a small creamy tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, faint chocolate, caramel/vanilla. Taste of burnt malt, chocolate, and some caramel in the finish.

w/ Uncle mark @ iron hill in Jersey. Ok i am biased towards porters to begin with but the nirto was rich and the brew was well roasted and did what i wanted it to.
