Draft @ brewpub. Pours dark brown with a slight red tint. Tan head with some lacing. Aroma is roasted malts with some coffee notes. Flavor is sweet, but has the malt and chocolate notes found in most porters. Finishes great and has the perfect amount of carbonation. Still a little too sweet for my tastes.

Draft. Dark brown in color with a small tan head. The aroma is pretty nice, with your typical roast and chocolate notes, well balanced. The flavor is good, with coffee, roast, chocolate, and nuts. Medium sweetness. Medium-bodied with a good level of carbonation for the style. A very good porter.

Draft at brewery. Very good overall. Nice tan head, brown / black color. Medium to full body, good for a porter, a little creamy but not too much. Coffee and chocolate flavors at the right level. Would recommend and will have again.

deep brown/black with a tan-brown head and lingers. Aroma is malt roast, molasses, fresh yeast, coffee, and mixed up. yum... body is lighter but flavor is big. slightly sweet, not so sweet it obscures the complexity. Yeast is light, but fresh and present, filling in for sweetness. Light coffee and some nutty dark honey flavors. Yum, I like it better than Appalachian Brewing Company’s porter, which is my goto for the sweeter end of the style, but this does it with more complexity.

This poured a darker brwn color with a beige head. Aroma was of medium roasted malts, some light chocolate and coffee too. Flavor was light cinnamon maybe?, milky chocolate and roasted mallows. Decent stuff.
