egajdzis (2929), Terrapin, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 17, 2007 Poured an amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of light cinnamon and caramel malts. Taste followed suit, non-descript, lightly spiced, maybe some metal, bitter hops, and thin. Especially after that Vanilla Pumpkin, this one really fell short. boto (1203), Granby, Connecticut, USA Dec 5, 2006 Draught @ Brewpub: This one pours a clear, slightly orangish color. There is a bit of a head on it, and it leaves some lacing. The nose is definitely pumpkin pie spice. Potent, but not overdone. The taste is along the same lines. A decent malt backbone with pumpkin pie spices. Lots of them, but not overdone. A good pumpkin beer! bfeldmann (966), Wilmington, Delaware, USA Dec 1, 2006 Poured a dark dark golden color with small head and good lacing. Aroma was spices and pumpkin. Flavor was a good blend of the 2 a little sweet for me but still good. DocLock (4075), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 17, 2006 Medium copper pour, with aroma of strong pumpkin puree and pumpkin spice. The flavor was pumpkiny, authentic, not too sweet, with a medium palate that got a bit tart at the finish. Smooth drinking, but not terribly complex or having those intangible qualities that made me want to order another. JB175 (1306), Holland, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 14, 2006 Golden amber color with light-med head. Smooth sweet & spicy pumpkin aroma. Taste is malty, pretty nice body for a pumpkin. Sweet, sessionable, and about the best that can be expected from a pumpkin beer.
