Beautiful copper color---smells of pumpkin and nutmeg. A punch of pumpkin off the initial taste and a bitter kick at the end. Smooth taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

ROGUE (2085) - Newark, Delaware, USA - AUG 19, 2013
On tap at Newark brewpub. Pours a deep, dark amber color with a two finger creamy light tan head with good retention and lacing. Smells of cinnamon, all spice, pumpkin, bready malt, and vanilla. Tastes of cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, vanilla, cream, pumpkin, and bread dough, all very balanced with nothing overpowering the other flavors. Medium bodied, moderate smooth carbonation, sweet, balanced, and semi-dry.

Pours a nice clear deep amber/orange with a medium tan head. Aroma has doughy/crusty notes, pumpkin, and mild spice. Flavor is a bit more spice forward...not aggressive though...some roasty malt balance but the nice doughy aromatic note doesnt come through as hoped. Mouthfeel is medium/full with a spiced/roasty finish.

One of my favorite pumpkin ales for 3 years in a row. Very orangish hue with a pleasant sweet and spicey aroma. Tons of pumpkin flavor with hints of spice throughout. Very smoothe and well balanced. Layers of flavor that make for multple drinkability.

Pumpkin beer. Both aspects are equally balanced. Really great flavor and long finish with pillion and spice but not disgustingly sweet. Feels light to medium and crisp with nice lively fizz.
