Pours a nice clear deep amber/orange with a medium tan head. Aroma has doughy/crusty notes, pumpkin, and mild spice. Flavor is a bit more spice forward...not aggressive though...some roasty malt balance but the nice doughy aromatic note doesnt come through as hoped. Mouthfeel is medium/full with a spiced/roasty finish.

One of my favorite pumpkin ales for 3 years in a row. Very orangish hue with a pleasant sweet and spicey aroma. Tons of pumpkin flavor with hints of spice throughout. Very smoothe and well balanced. Layers of flavor that make for multple drinkability.

Pumpkin beer. Both aspects are equally balanced. Really great flavor and long finish with pillion and spice but not disgustingly sweet. Feels light to medium and crisp with nice lively fizz.

Big thanks to mday for sending this out. Pours a moderate orange color with a little bit of a brownish tint in there. White head and a bit of lacing. The nose is fairly faint with a bit of pumpkin and residual sweetness. The taste is light pumpkin pie with some brown sugar and only a bit of spicing. Good medium body with ample carbonation. Drinks well and is a nice offering. Serving type: growler Reviewed on: 11-04-2010

Draft at Maple Shade. Poured a clear orange/copper body with a fizzy smaller white head. The aroma is great with lots of balanced spices, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg and whatever the hell esle is in a pumpkin beer. The flavor is more pumpkin then expected but the spice notes are coming across nicely dominated by nutmeg and cinnamon, along with some toast and grains. Medium bodied with average carbonation to slightly bubbly. Solid but the aroma trumps the flavor.
