COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a filtered American wheat beer, with a touch of natural raspberry flavor and aroma. Before you pass this one over because it’s a “fruit” beer, try it on a hot summer afternoon. Our brewers even admit it’s their beer of choice during those hot summer beer festivals.

I tried to avoid this but not hard enough. The raspberry essence is essentially here for the aroma. Thin bodied, amberish yellow. Avoidable. Least of the product line that day.

Pour is clear golden yellow with a thin white head...smell is strongly raspberry...tastge is sweet with raspberry...sickeningly sweet...not the most pleasant concoction I’ve had...

Another run at a fruit beer, this one was average. Nice for the summer, but there’s a good reason I haven’t gotten this in my many trips to IH. Clear to slightly hazy golden color with a small head and usual American Wheat appearance. The aroma was of raspberries. The flavor was much the same, while this one hid that normal barn / hay type flavor that underlies many an American Wheat. Mouthfeel was light and refreshing (for the summertime only).

At the North Wales location. Nose is all raspberry. Flavor is medicinal raspberry. Not good. Tastes fake overall.

Tap at the North Wales location. Pours a very light hazy golden with some light pink hue coming through. Small bubbly white head. Aroma of raspberry (more than a touch), not much else came across a bit artificial. Flavor of raspberry, cereal, grains and wheat. It was light and refreshing and the raspberry in the aroma and flavor was more sweet than tart.

Draft at West Chester. Pours hazy gold. Faint aroma of raspberry and wheat malt. Flavor is light, but the raspberry is overdone and tastes artificial to me. Texture somewhat thin. College Zima drinkers will love this

Taster on tap at brewpub. Great rasberry smell. Fizzy almost champaign like....rasberry flavor is just too sweet.

pours clear golden with a small white head, aroma of raspberry, malt, and wheat, flavor is off, raspberry and beer are not blended well in this brew, although it is drinkable, just not worth drinking.

Jamlike raspberry aroma with some tart wheat character. Hazy pale blonde body is topped by a low, fine bubbled, white head that lasts well and laces. Raspberry sweet flavour with some mildly tart wheat character. Light body with fair carbonation. Sampled at Kennett Square Brewfest 2005.
