Mini-growler from Pinocchio’s. Clear honey brown with a clingy whitish head that leaves copious lacing. Nose is pine, cantaloupe and cat; deep down wet basement and weed. Oily medium body with a soft buzz. Manages to stay drinkable even though a hoppy monster. Taste is pink grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, toffee and pine. They nailed it with this one. Great brew and a great bottle shop.

Draft at pins. Pours hazy copper with a small head. Aroma is a pine bomb. Taste is very bitter with minor citrus.

Pours a copper color with minimal head and excellent lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, pineapple, and hops. Lots of citrus upfront-grapefruit and pineapple with an aggressive bitter hop bite on the back end. Very well done.

UPDATED: JUN 9, 2012 Golden orange body. Moderate hazy body capped by a dense white head that leaves behind a healthy coating of lacing. Aggressive bitterness from a few feet away. Grapefruit, pineapple, and other citric notes dominate. A bit of resinous hops as well. Medium bodied, perhaps a tad overcarbonated, dry, tight bitter finish. Definitely the best IPA offered by any of the Iron Hills.

Pours a clear golden/orange color with a medium creamy white head...good lacing and retention. Pungent hoppy aroma has some peach and grapefruit...citrusy sweet...just a hint of spicy hops. Flavor is more spicy hops forward with grapefruit creeping in late...very tasty. Mouthfeel is medium/full and oily with a grapefruity, very bitter and dry finish that lingers. Nice! One of the best if not the best iron hill beers ive had!

Had on tap at Pinnochio’s Beer Garden 2nd anniversary party, which this beer was brewed for. Amber/golden color with carbonation typical of the style. Aroma is of citrusy hops, very inviting. The citra and galaxy hops truly shine through in the flavor, notes of pineapple, grapefruit, and peaches. Alcohol is very well hidden. Excellent beer, hope they make it again!
