Bottled. A dark red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, chili, and brettanomyces. The flavor is sweet with notes of brettanomyces, alcohol, wood, and chilis, leading to a burning chili finish.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Courtesy of Doodler. Pours a clear dark orangey brown with a small, rough off-white head. Roasty nose with a lurking spiciness. Medium body, lowish carbonation, subtle roast, greasy spiciness, with a somewhat tart edge. The wood doesn’t really come through. Oxidized overripe fruit. No real bitterness but some Tabasco burn. A bit of a mess - but RARE! 190412

High time I got around to reviewing this from a tasting several weeks ago. Provided by Alex...A dark brown pour with a tan head, good retention and lacing...The aroma is strong with lots going on, tabasco dominates of course but there is depth with cocoa, oak and a hint of smoke, I like it...The tabasco doesn’t take center stage adding in some cocoa and caramel giving a malt balance to he heat. A really nice combo that gives people the chili heat they are looking for without blowing them out of water. Can’t drink a ton of this though.

Smoky pepper and toffee nose with a bit of dark fruit. Taste is loaded with peppers, very fruity, some toffee, hickory smoke and raisins. Medium body is soft with light carbonation and a warm, tingling pepper finish. Excellent.

Iron Hill ring of fire. 500ml bottle thanks to alex for sharing... Pours a darker caramel brown with a thin tan head... Aroma of chile and tobasco with pale caramel malt... Flavors are caramel malt forward which then transforms to dark caramel and toffee malt. Spicy heat surfaces midway beyond thorugh the finish. 7/4/7/3/14
