On tap at echelon, pours clearish golden with nice lacing. Aromas and taste are bitter hops, spice, and oranges. Nice hoppy flavor on a lighter body. They definitely got everything out of a usually lackluster hop varietal.

Growler. Shared thanks to Dean. Pours a slightly hazy deep golden copper color with a thick off white head. Aroma of caramel malt, big citrus notes, and getting some papaya. Taste of caramel malt, citrus, lemon rind, and a piney bitter finish.

Tap in Maple Shade. Orange-copper with a lacing, short beige head. Nose pretty lemon and grapefruit, spicy Sorachi, taste the same, mild but juiy bitterness, creamy medium body with low-level resin. Medium bitterness, dry. Love the juicy hops, creamy feel -- this could be an IH favorite.

Enjoyed on tap at Maple Shade location. Orange bodied, orange flavour mostly Complex, with some coconut and tropical fruit. Smooth drinker, the best beer I had here, being near my hotel. Wasn’t getting the lemon I would anticipate.

Growler shared by drabmuh. Thanks Matt! The beer is orange and transparent, with a thick white head that leaves a thick sheet of lacing on the pint glass. The aroma offers some sweet malt, floral scents, and a light coconut flavor. Coconuts really come through in the flavor, giving the beer a lot of sweetness. Light floral notes. Mouthfeel is exceptionally creamy. Overall, a coconut bomb. An atypical IPA, Sorachi Ace hops steal the show. Serving type: growler Reviewed on: 10-29-2011
