Miver (299), WillowStreet, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 29, 2008 AKA Abby’s Fault in Lancaster. Poured a slightly hazy deep gold in color with a white head. Aroma is primarily of citrus hops, and Belgian yeast. Taste is of cloves, citrus hops, with an underlying spice bite. I didn’t realize this was 9.5% and I guess that’s why it had a bit of alcohol burn in the finish. afireinside96 (348), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 11, 2008 labeled "Abby’s Fault" at Iron Hill Lancaster. tapped a dark golden color with a small white head. nose is of piney hops. taste is lightly spicy with notes of nutmeg and clove with some added alcohol warmth. dry spicy finish. leaves some nice lacing. hopdog (4452), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 25, 2008 12oz glass on tap at the Media location. Poured a medium golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of citrus (grapefruits), bananas, spices, and yeast. Tastes of bananas, spices, more citrus, and bread. Light alcohol in the finish. JB175 (1280), Holland, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 17, 2008 Clear golden color with a smaller head. Aroma has a sweet/bready thing going on with citrus, banana, spice, and a sweet yeastiness. Flavor is dominated by sugary-sweet malts and a nice amount of floral/citrus hoppiness. Candi sugar, bread, citrus and assorted ripe fruits, and some spice and yeast are all present. Nice hoppy feel. Reminds me somewhat of their golden barleywine. Pretty good. axilla (941), New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 14, 2008 Updated: Jan 21, 2008Media. Pours a clean golden yellow color body with a decent, rocky white head. The aroma is quite hoppy with pine and grapefruit present with sweet belgain yeast also hiding in there. The flavor starts with banana bread and spices that are quickly bried under a blast of bitter citrus (mostly grapefruit but oranges also present). Very nice.
