Smelled like chocolate and malt. Flavor is perfect amount of roasted malt. Good thickness to it. The 9 percent is almost unoticable until it lingers in with a sweet after taste. I really enjoyed this beer. Brewer101 (163), New Jersey, USA

For some reason I can’t get bast the roasted flavor that reminds me of coffee. Although there seemed nothing too great about this stout it did receive compliments from friends of mine. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, and a slight fruitiness. Sweet chocolate malts with nice toffee character balance well with the roasty finish that dried out the palate. Smooth and full, nice drying finish. Pretty straight forward, but still pretty solid. Thanks for sharing dude. WeeHeavySD (2962), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA

Pretty damn beautifal pour with a nice pop on the hand bottle so I know it was done right. Black with a big heaping tannish brown head. Nose is roasty, malty and pretty nice. Taste is sweet, bitter and full of dark toffee malts, almost burnt coffee as well. Not bad not amazing. gotbeach (136), San Diego, California, USA
