3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Wilmington. Clear orange pour, no head. Citrusy aroma. Man, this is hoppy. By far the most bitter Iron Hill beer ever. The problem is that the citrus flavor was that if a slightly spoiled orange...slightly sewerlike. It wasnít terrific.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft @ brewpub. Pours murky orange with thin white head. Aroma was mostly hops with hints of grapefruit and some floral notes. Flavor is what youíd expect out of a good, standard IPA. Great hoppy taste with medium carbonation and finishes with grapefruit flavors. Good IPA.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Growler shared by bruce at SL... He heard it was a wet hop beer. IHís websites says the same description for every IPA. WTF...Nice orange color, good head, nice aroma. Taste is a well balanced IPA. It taste like a wet hop beer. Bitter piney taste. Not overdone or underwhelming. A little sweet. Medium texture. Nice beer

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On cask at the Iron Hill Newark "Cask & Ye Shall Receive"-Clear amber orange pour w/a slight head & some lacing. Dry hop aroma. Strong hop presence, flavors of citrus, grapefruit, & pine w/woodsy overtones. I didnít get a whole lot of a malt finish out of this, Iíd say itís definitely one for the hop heads. Solid IPA, but a little more over the top than I prefer.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
On cask at the Iron Hill "Cask & Ye Shall Receive" fest as "Scrooge American IPA," seemingly a different entry than their standard "American IPA" that Iíve had before. This thing was in the top two or three best present. Poured a full amber color with some orange hues, a good head presence and even some lacing. The aroma was oodles of oranges and some grapefruit, touch of pine hops too. The flavor was a full body of orangey flavors with a big punch of piney and citrus hops the way I like it. Reminded me of Troeggs Nugget Nectar, a beer I canít get enough of every year. Body is full and finishes with bitter hops along with that semi-sweet orangey flavor underneath. Great stuff!
