2012-08-17. Dark brown body, small beige head. 3+ Dry aroma, vaguely smokey/vegetal character. Flavour is similar, malty, muted smoke and vegetal character. Average bodied palate. Do not particularly care for it. Bottle, Campground Brewdown 2012

Draft. Clear dark amber body, medium beige head. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, some smoke. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, light smoke that is stronger in the finish. Medium body, some stickiness.

Poured a slightly hazy brownish purple color with a thin off-white head. Aroma has lots of coffee and some belgian yeast notes. Some dough as well. Taste also has lots of coffee and chocolate with some dark fruits and belgian flavors. Very nice.

20120702 Tap at Lancaster. dark amber with lasting tan head. Aroma is a bit on the sour side, sour dough, pickled tomatoes. Flavor is nutty, twiggy, and briny (olives), with very light white pepper and then copious wood smoke, touches of cocoa nibs. Smoke lingers a long while on the palate. Creamy medium to full body. Really grew on me.
