Draft at Maple Shade during the barrel aged beers event. Poured a darker shade of brown with burgundy edges and a dark foamy quick fading head. Aroma of syrupy chocolate, light bourbon, vanilla beans, coccoa powder. Medium bodied with average to stronger carbonation and a long lingering flavor. Flavor has some noticeable alcohol throughout, vanilla extract, bourbon, dark chocolate, dry dark toast, hint of toffee and molasses. Probably one of the best beers of the day.
