Slightly hazy golden with a small head... Aroma of belgian yeast fruits apples vanilla... good flavor vanilla oak yeast fruits... medium full bodied with a dry finish... very nice beer... quite complex

Tap at BCWC 2010. Pours a deep copper with a fluffy lasting white head a bit cold through the jockey box, but as it warms the aromas are pretty good- lots of earth, medium funk, leather earth- some horesblanket, toasted wood, light oakiness, hints of vanilla. Flavor is nicely funked out- although bready malts stilll come through- a touch grassy, herbal, light tobacco leaf, a bit tannic, and a light bitterness in the end- nice but I much preferred the other secret beers of the day. 10%- wtf? did not notice the alcohol on this one. Damnit- now my notes say it was 9.0%. meh.

Lightly hazy amber color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of brett, vanilla, wood, tofffee, leather, citrus fruits, and caramel malts. Taste of honey, white wine, vanilla, citrus, caramel malts, and a slightly wild finish. A little sweet for my liking.
