TomDecapolis (2481), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 9, 2005 On tap at the Media location. Pours a slightly hazy orange amber with a small white head. Aroma of banana, clove, wheat, citrus and some caramel. Great up front aroma, a lot going on. Flavors of the same, goes down very smoothly. Picked up a growler of this to share at our weekly after work tasting, sitting in my fridge as I write this...tempting me to open it. JB175 (1364), Holland, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 21, 2007 Updated: Jul 14, 2007Draft @ North Wales - listed as Hercules - Cloudy and brown with a decent size beige head. Aroma is very sweet with some caramel, banana, spices and sweet, yet powerful bready malts. Taste is a full-bodied mix of bready-wheat malts, sweet bananas, dried cherries. Smooth, yet bold. I’m gonna have to put this up against my previous favorite American W-Bock from Ramstein and see which one wins........ egajdzis (3021), Terrapin, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 29, 2005 Updated: Nov 6, 2005Poured a hazy brown color with a thin, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of bananas, citrus, berries, nuts, and caramel malt. Taste of more caramel malt, light smoke, nuts, tart citrus, light wheat, wood, banana, and light spices, such as cinnamon. Faint hoppiness in the background. DocLock (4170), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 16, 2007 Draft at P-ville. Pours hazy muddy dark brownish with minimal khaki head. Aroma of banana, brown sugary malts, some spicy clovey hints, and some figs, raisins, and toffee. Medium palate, with a high complexity, and flavors of brown sugar, figs, molasses, caramel malt, banana, clove, and Bazooka gum. A nice style. Walt (2287), Chicago, Illinois, USA Oct 15, 2006 Pour is clearish golden yellow with a thin off white head...smell is sweet with lots of vanilla...nice well rounded wheat and alcoholic...yeast and sugar...nice slow chewy finish....
