3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 willblake (2624) - Bel Air, Maryland, USA - MAY 31, 2010
20100531 tap at Newark. Pretty pale gold with lasting, sheeting white head. Aroma is lightly grainy, very mild diacetyl, and only slight resinous hops, a bit of pineapple, ammonia. Frankly expected hoppier aroma. Body is nice, light, spritzy, lager-like, and finishing with a firm pithy grapefruit bite. Diacetyl emerges more with temp but I guess that’s tolerable for the style.

Draft at Maple Shade. Poured a clear golden body with a small white head. Aroma was apricot and cat piss, prbably only the second time that I have found this aroma in my beer thankfully. The flavor was fruity and earthy but the cat piss still crept in there which was not pleasant.
