Cask at Maple Shade. Dark copper, no head. Sweet and piny, light spice, floral character. Medium body, smooth, not watery. Most pleasant part definitely the darker earth and toffee, good malt development, good hop/malt balance.

From a cask at the Maple Shade location. Pours a nice amber with a small white head. Hop aroma with some malty sweetness in the back ground. The flavor has the yakima bite to it, almost like pepper, slightly sweet in the end. Dry refreshing sweetness.

On cask at West Chester location. I can’t say I liked this. It had a grainy/cornsyrup like flavor. Sweet, but not good sweet. It said "aggressively hopped", which it wasn’t...not hoppy at all. I know the cask takes some of the bite away, but this was overall drab and uninspiring and just not good tasting.

On cask at Iron Hill, West Chester. Poured deep red with thin off-white head. Starts slightly citrusy and then finishes with an a more profound rush of hoppy bitterness. A bit creamy and smooth but lacking any noteable malt backbone. Just seemed weak all around.

Firkin at Real Ale Inv PBW09. Pours a reddish orange with a small bubbly off white head. Aroma of lots of citrusy hops, cereal grains, toasted malt, some pine and toffee. Flavor of the same. A hoppy irish red ale. Nicely done.

[Firkin @ North Wales] Poured a murky red brown color, with off white bubbles, no lacing. Aroma of citrus, grass, toffee, pine, light fruit. Taste of citrus, toast, resiny pine, toffee, and dark fruit.

Cask, West Chester. Pours a deep ruby with the typical cask/nitro looking head. Aroma is mild, malty, and sweet. The flavor is overwhelmingly malty with some slight hop undertones. Palate is creamy smooth. A nice quaffer.
