3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours dark amber with a slight beige head that left quickly. Aroma is a bit citrus/tart/earthy. Med body. Well, it’s certainly not a standard malty amber. It has some citrus, and a bit of earthy tartness. Nice. Could be a bit more earthy/tart, but I suppose the resort can’t pour something as extreme as real French beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle:   Deep amber, a little murky, thin sudsy off-white head, little lacing.   Pale bready aroma, has a pale biscuity aspect with some pale fruit skin.   Very mealy on the tongue, pale biscuit, slight pale fruit skin.   Not very farmhouse, or musty, or dusty.   I am not much a fan of Biere de Garde, but this one seems heavier and less barnish/musty.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Very average and very boring.   Nothing about this one captures me.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22. Pours a murky dark brown with a loose light tan head. Big malty sweet nose, lots of brown bread showing. Creamy medium body, very silky and almost slick. Moderate carb. Caramel and brown bread on the mid palate. Mild sweetish finish. Definitely not bad.
