3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours hazy golden amber with a slight off-white head. Aroma is floral and pine with some mildly roasted malt. Med body, almost. Flavor is rather floral, then a little resin, then some mildly gritty/bready malt. More dry than not, and finishes bitter. Good drink. Want to try a double version.

Yellow pour with a white head. The aroma has some orange and perfume notes from the hops as well as some toffee. The flavor is similar with bitter orange notes, grass and light toffee. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Iron Horse IPA. Cloudy copper pour. Not much bitterness in taste but quite a bit of hoppiness in aroma and flavor. Unusual lemon and "earthy" notes in flavor as well. A little thin on the malts, which is odd considering the dark color. Overall good -- unusual at the very least; this is not one you can pigeon hole, even if it is not your typical IPA. I'm intrigued.

Draught at Mckay’s Taphouse, Bellingham
Cloudy light amber color. The aroma is fruity, nice. The mouthfeel is lean, with caramel flavor and strong earthy/manure character; correct bitterness.
It’s an earthy IPA, good.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Very cloudy, looked more like a hefe. Drinks well however, good hop nose and an assertive bitterness. Great on the palate but a little more effort on appearance for example fining would make a good ale better.
