COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Bavarian style cloudy wheat beer. We have used a Bavarian yeast with Australian wheat and malts to create a refreshing beer with banana and spicy clove characters. The IronHouse Wheat Beer was presented with a Bronze Medal at the International Beer Awards 2008.

Tried on tap at the Brewery Rest. Clear golden body with a short head. Clove notes more than any banana, partner thought this was good but sometimes I just can’t get into wheat beers.

Pours a cloudy pale yellow, with a large long lasting white head. Pleasant fruity aroma. Creamy / frothy mouthfeel with a slightly spicy finish. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Not particuarly stand outish for the style of beer but a nice drop all the same. - 330ml brown bottle.

...poured a nice cloudy yellow, with a decent white head. Nice clove and yeast on the nose, with a hint of bubblegum. Medium\light body, creamy mouthfeel. Flavors, mostly like the nose. Finish was creamy, with a nice spicy clove note. I was impressed with this beer, glad I tried it over there.

Bottle - Slightly cloudy yellow. Large white head initially but it rapidly subsided. Medium to high carbonation. Very frothy mouth feel. Wheaty - the banana and cloves are there but much less intense than in many other wheat beers.
