Nicely balanced "traditional" IIPA. Peach and grapefruit in abundance in both aroma and taste. Some nice grassy and piney notes as well. Makes me want to sample more from Iron Springs. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

gotta get this fresh on tap from iron springs brewery in fairfax. have had disappointing results from bottles but on tap never disappoints. oily, thick and chewy with a ’dank’ viscous layer of tangy hops and a hint of malt. deadly. ABV varies between ~9-10.5%. very very tasty.

From a bomber from Willibees in Petaluma, CA...great little beer flying under the radar from a little brewery in Fairfax, CA...nice hoppy aroma, followed by a clear, dark golden color. Excellent hop taste. Could be my new go to Imp. IPA...price is right and im getting tired of paying through the nose for hoppy beers

pour is a hazy dark copper with a dark murky grey head and large bubbles. Nose is slightly burnt caramel and brown sugar, doughy underneath with pine and faint citrus in back. Taste is a touch more hoppy and citrusy. The malt is sugary and lightly sweet with a burnt grain. Body falls off in back, nicely carbonated but the sugar gives it a grainy feel.

This was a bottle shared via Facebook Chat with Strykzone, my beer buddy in the Midwest who loves beer as much as I do. It poured a reddish orange color with a really robust beige head and lots of good lacing. The nose is caramel malt with lots of hops with citrus, pine, and flowers. The mouthfeel is resin and sticky. Medium plus body. The flavor comes right at you with lots of it, with roasted malts and much hops with pine dominating. There is a good bitterness and it carried over to the finish. This is a solid beer and very easy to drink for a DIPA. Wonderful.

Bomber from Hayduke. We enjoyed it together via facebook chat. This pours caramel brown and has a nice rocky beige head that leaves sticky lacing. A citrus and caramel nose seems classic. The first sips are big biting grapefruit citrus. Very bitter. After a while that settled and some floral hops settled in and later some pine. The caramel is nice throughout. This is a classic west coast IIPA and a good one. It is a down the middle strike.

Very earthy, semi-sweet and herbal. A greatly hoppy brew balanced by its own complex hop character ironically, but its doughy, nutty bite also keeps it together.

Pours dark orange coudy brownish... Strong aroma of pine and hopps... taste is great.. Strong hoppy joy
