On tap at Lanesplitter in Berkeley, CA. It pours a deep dark amber with creamy mocha head. Excellent lacing. The aroma has a burnt malts to large scale burntness followed by roasted coffee beans. The taste ushers in burnt malts, mild roasted coffee beans and sweet malts mixed with a hint of molasses. Toward the finish I get mild chocolate malts. Pretty darn yummy.

On tap at City Beer Store in SF, which is where I get all my beers these days really. Why go anywhere else? Pours a dark brown with a legitimate tan head. Nice coffee and smokiness on the aroma. Flavors are roasted malt, coffee, bitter chocolate. Slight alcohol on the finish. Medium palate. Satisfying porter.
