On tap at Barclays in Oakland. A lightly colored ipa, mild hop aroma. A decent and balanced beer but nothing unique. I was on a quest for Pliny and could not find it (until a few days later) so that might have tainted my opinion at the time.

Sep 22, 2008 On tap @ Iron Springs poured a hazy gold with a small lingering off white head. Aromas of pine, carmel, orange and grapefruit rind. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of grapefruit, pine, light earthiness and light carmel with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish.

Apr 15, 2008 Draft 1/2 pint at Barclay’s in Oakland. Dark orange and relatively still. Stark aroma of rigid hop. Drinks with a strong acidity, bringing a chewy citrusy aspect, with an astringent finish. (#3415, 4/13/2008)

Dec 21, 2006 Tap @ Bistro’s 9th Annual IPA Festival 8/’12/06. Couldy amber color with a tan head. Simple malty and citrus hops flavors.

does not count  Jun 2, 2006 Very nice rich copper color. Very little head. Clean tasting, slightly bitter finish. Very well balanced with the right amount of malt.
