Bottle. It pours a dark, dark brown body and a small, dense, beige head. Lots of coffee on the nose, with a solid dose of chocolate and roasted malts. Toffee tending towards butterscotch too. It’s full-bodied and semi-dry, nicely carbonated. Toffee chocolate and coffee in the flavor. Some hints of piney hops giving a little bitterness. Slightly metallic in the end. Overall, a quite nice one, but nothing impressive. 111125

500mL beerandblues2. Deep cola brown pour with a small, tan head. Sticky lace. Nose is thick chocolate, mild phenols, some oddities but not offensive. Taste is suddy, tart, acidic, citric. Chalky, thin palate. Refreshing. Could be brown ale. 8% feels like 3%. Very citric.
