Damn, more beer being made in Temecula! It pours mahogany with a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up dark roasted coffee, earthy coffee, hazelnut and a mild degree of chili pepper. The taste delivers dark roasted coffee and earthy coffee as well as an earthy tobacco sort of note and some mild chili pepper. Decent enough.

Dark brown pour, medium brown head. Flavors of coffee, roasted nuts, dark toasted bread, molasses. Nice and it tastes bigger than 6%

Bottle from Thieves Liquor in National City: Poured a dark blackish brown color topped with a frothy topping of head which eventually flat lined. Aroma is bold with roast nuts and malts and reminds me of macadamia nuts and coffee together. This beer really does smell amazing. As for the flavor, it falls a little short, although, it does deliver some sweet malt with a bitterness of cheap coffee. Also has a notice of black licorice.

Pours a very dark brown, nearly opaque. Some ruby glints in direct sunlight. Dark taupe, fluffy head with decent retention. Sweet nutty and smoky aroma. Mouthfeel is way too thin for the style. A lot of smokiness and dark roast coffee in the flavor. Some nutty notes break through occasionally.

Dark black, coffee smell, pretty smooth but with a bite at the end that hits ya. Wasn't expecting that. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22oz bottle. Rating #10. Dark black with a little brown around the edges and a nice little beige head. Roast and coffee aroma with some dark chocolate. Flavor is similar to the aroma, a bit of ash in the aftertaste, but very nice to drink. (2709)

pours a black-dark brown with a two finger tan head which fades to very nice lacing. Aroma is of hazelnut coffee, roasted malts, caramel, and milk coco. Taste is of roasted malts, hazelnut coffee, coco, molasses, caramel, and some walnuts. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, roasty, moderate finish. Overall, a tasty, sessionable stout, that makes nice use of hazelnut coffee

Great label screen on this 220z bomb : That aroma! That beautiful, coffee aroma! Look, I love this thing! I think many, who are not coffee / espresso freaks, may experience problems with this stout. Perhaps a little more dry that I was expecting, but I’m enjoying it, and I don’t mind the considerable acidity. Glad to try!

Bomber from Bine and Vine. Pours very dark brown/black with a creamy/foamy 3 finger tan head. Aroma is mostly chocolate with a hint of coffee. Med + body. Flavor starts chocolate then a huge burst of nutty coffee intrudes. Then it’s definitely hazelnut. Lots of flavor for a stout. Finishes dry and burnt malt bitter. Good stuff.
